A series of works responding to a the work of Magda Portal, based on her poem Liberación, 1924. Magda Portal (1900-1983), poet, writer and feminist activist was a central figure in Peru’s political vanguard during the first half of the twentieth century. Her name has been excluded from mainstream history and relegated to the margins due to her political convictions and confrontation with APRA.
